About the role

As an Account Executive at LITAT MACHINERY HARDWARE SDN. BHD., you will play a crucial role in managing the company's financial records and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all bookkeeping and accounting tasks. This full-time position is based in Butterworth, Penang, and offers a dynamic working environment with opportunities for career growth.

What you'll be doing

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and the general ledger
• Preparing and submitting financial statements, invoices, and reports in a timely manner
• Assisting with the preparation of budgets and forecasts to support strategic decision-making
• Liaising with internal departments and external stakeholders to resolve accounting-related issues
• Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
• Providing administrative support to the finance team as needed

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar accounting or bookkeeping role, preferably within the machinery or hardware industry
• Strong knowledge of full set accounting principles, practices, and software (e.g., autocounts)
• Excellent attention to detail and a demonstrated track record of accurate and timely financial reporting
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
