A leading company in Malaysia is seeking a Marketing Manager to drive strategic planning, brand management, and media relations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in communications and marketing, with strong leadership skills. This role involves overseeing content creation, managing events, and engaging with stakeholders to enhance brand visibility and reputation.

Strategic Planning
Lead the development of marketing and communication strategies that align with MYNIC's mission and vision. Ensure consistent messaging across all platforms and create brand guidelines to maintain a unified brand presence. Proactively identify risks and develop plans to address communication challenges.
Brand Management
Develop and maintain MYNIC’s brand identity, standards, and guidelines. Ensure consistent brand presentation across all channels. Work on brand enhancement initiatives and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen the brand’s market position.
Media Relations
Act as the main point of contact for media. Build strong relationships with journalists, editors, and influencers to secure positive media coverage. Prepare press releases and media statements to support brand awareness and reputation.
Content Creation
Oversee the creation of written and visual content for press releases, blogs, social media, and marketing materials. Ensure all content aligns with MYNIC’s voice, goals, and messaging strategy, and effectively communicates with the target audience.
Stakeholder Engagement
Engage and collaborate with internal teams, government agencies, strategic partners, and community groups to support MYNIC’s communication goals. Build strong, trusted relationships to increase support and cooperation on key initiatives.
Event Management
Plan and manage events such as press conferences, product launches, and stakeholder engagements. Ensure events align with MYNIC’s branding and messaging and help boost visibility and engagement.
Budget Management
Manage the marketing and communications budget. Analyze spending needs, track expenditures, and make strategic decisions to ensure cost-effective use of resources that support MYNIC’s goals.
Job Requirements:
Educational Qualifications: Bachelor Degree or Master in Mass Communications, Communications, Business Administration, Sociology, or a related field required.
Certifications (an added advantage):
Certified Public Relations Professional (CPRP)
Certified Marketing Professional (CMP)
Experience: Minimum 8 years of working experience in the related industry with experience in Communications, Marketing and other related field
Experience in team leadership, public relations, and engagement with government stakeholders.
Other Skill Requirements:
Strong written and verbal communication (Bahasa Malaysia and English)
Proficiency in digital marketing tools and social media management
Crisis and stakeholder management
Time management and multitasking skills
