Position Summary
The Brand Manager (Export)/Market Support Manager is responsible for managing specific categories by developing marketing objective, strategies and roll out marketing plans as defined for core countries to gain leadership position (to become top 3 players) and drive growth in market share.
Work Location: Bandar Bukit Raja, Klang (next to Setia Alam)
You will play an essential role to:
- Deep understanding of market, channel, media, and competitor landscape added with consumer insights that enables to develop effective marketing strategies, 360 plan, new product development recommendation if relevant to achieve business plans and objectives.
- Develop and deliver effective marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness through various touchpoints both ATL include digital marketing/e-com and BTL. Priority focus on Cambodia, Brunei, Thailand, Maldives and other developing markets.
- Lead & develop 360 marketing plans for ATL, digital, BTL, events, promotion, and in-store activities during annual business plan.
- Lead in implementation of approved brand plan and work closely with all relevant parties (internal and external) to ensure Business Plans and Brand Objectives are achieved.
- Work closely with sales team, distributor team or agency to develop attractive content to increase awareness in social media, able to develop digital content and drive traffic to e-com platform at selected countries.
- Lead and manage media and creative agencies for activations across traditional and digital platforms, including on-ground events and sampling activities at key offline and online touchpoints (e.g., in-store, on-ground, hospitals, clinics), while also overseeing the development of sampling tools, POSM, communication materials, and brand imagery—ensuring optimal quotations and delivery arrangements.
- Support 360 integrated marketing plans for new launches, re-launches, and other marketing campaigns.
- Monitor, report, and analyze brand activities and campaigns (online and offline) with recommendations, including post-evaluations, sales deck communication, execution of brand initiatives, and competitive analysis on pricing, communications, launches/relaunches, marketing activities, and market share.
- Responsible for local pricing strategy for assigned assortment strike balance between competitiveness and company profit margin.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Trade-Marketing / Brand Marketing (min 5 years); value added if with commercial background and people manager experiences.
- University Degree or similar educational level
- Experience in e-com management, product, and project management.
- Must be able to work in a fast-moving working environment and able to cope with tight timelines.
- Able to work independently and frequently travel to other countries.
