Position Summary :

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a large commercial retail property. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless facility operations, safety, and tenant satisfaction while maintaining high operational standards across all departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Facilities & Property Management

  • Manage all aspects of operations including common areas and car park facilities
  • Supervise in-house or outsourced teams for:
  • Security – Ensure safety for customers, tenants, and staff
  • Cleaning – Maintain hygiene in public areas, restrooms, and food courts
  • Landscaping – Ensure the upkeep of internal and external greenery
  • Waste Management – Oversee disposal and recycling compliance

Maintenance Oversight

  • Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance for:
  • General building repairs
  • HVAC, electrical (HV/LV), and lighting systems
  • Fire protection systems (alarms, sprinklers, hydrants)
  • Elevators and escalators (liaising with vendors)

Tenant Relations

  • Serve as main point of contact for tenants regarding operational support
  • Approve and manage tenant fit-out/renovation applications and timelines
  • Assist with move-in/move-out processes and ensure compliance with guidelines
  • Support day-to-day tenant requests and resolve issues efficiently

Operational Efficiency & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with local safety regulations and internal SOPs
  • Implement operational improvements to optimize service delivery
  • Contribute to emergency preparedness and crisis management planning

Job Requirements:

  • Experience: 4–6 years in retail property or real estate operations
  • Language: Must be Chinese (to liaise effectively with stakeholders); other ethnicities welcome if fluent in Chinese
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
  • Leadership: Experience managing a team of 5–10 staff
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Note: Overtime may be required for weekend events (self-managed)
