Senior Accounts & Admin Executive / Assistant Manager

We are seeking a meticulous, reliable, and experienced Senior Accounts cum Admin Executive / Assistant Accounts cum Admin Manager to join our team in Ulu Tiram. This role involves managing comprehensive accounting functions, office administration, and HR support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing small teams, improving processes, and ensuring compliance with statutory and internal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Accounting
  2. Handle full sets of accounts including AR, AP, GL, bank reconciliations, and financial statements.
  3. Lead month-end and year-end closing activities with accuracy and timeliness.
  4. Prepare tax computations, file returns, and ensure all statutory payments are made promptly.
  5. Maintain proper and accurate financial records in accordance with standards and audit requirements.
  6. Liaise with auditors, tax agents, government bodies, and financial institutions.
  7. Provide timely financial reports and analysis to support management decision-making.
  8. Continuously review and enhance accounting processes and internal controls.

Administration

  1. Handle company matters with government agencies (e.g., MBJB, JPJ) including license applications, renewals, and compliance submissions.
  2. Liaise with non-trade suppliers (e.g., IT vendors, internet service providers).
  3. Organize, maintain, and update administrative files and company records.

Human Resources

  1. Assist with recruitment processes, including job postings and scheduling interviews.
  2. Maintain and update employee records.
  3. Support onboarding and offboarding processes.
  4. Assist in organizing employee training sessions and workshops.
  5. Handle employee inquiries and provide administrative support.
  6. Manage payroll processing, benefits administration, and leave tracking, ensuring compliance with policies and laws.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, Costing, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and audit practices.
  • Experience supervising junior staff or leading small teams is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of HR practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Meticulous, accurate, and detail-oriented.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
