As the Regional Supply Chain & Transportation Program Manager APAC, you will oversee freight, brokerage, and land transportation operations across the region. Your responsibilities include driving performance management, executing RFx processes, and leading system project implementations, all while ensuring compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) standards.

This role offers an opportunity to optimize regional transportation networks and improve overall supply chain efficiency. Ideal candidates will have regional experience and a background in high-tech, industrial, distribution, consulting, 3PL, or IOR/EOR, with expertise in safety and trade regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and manage regional freight and land transportation projects, including network design, route optimization, and carrier partnerships.
  2. Develop strategies to improve cost efficiency, transit times, and service levels.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and eliminate bottlenecks.
  4. Establish and monitor KPIs for transportation, freight, and brokerage operations.
  5. Conduct performance reviews and identify improvement areas.
  6. Implement best practices to enhance cost efficiency and reliability in freight and transportation management.
  7. Benchmark against industry standards and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
  8. Manage RFP and RFQ processes for freight service providers, carriers, and brokers.
  9. Perform market analysis and cost benchmarking to ensure competitive pricing and service agreements.
  10. Negotiate contracts and SLAs with transportation vendors.
  11. Oversee the implementation of transportation management systems (TMS) and digital supply chain tools.
  12. Collaborate with IT and operations teams for seamless system integration and adoption.
  13. Drive automation and digitalization initiatives to enhance transportation performance.
  14. Ensure compliance with QHSE standards through audits, risk assessments, and training.
Qualifications for Success
  • Proven results in transportation projects, performance management, and system implementations.
  • Experience in RFX processes, cost benchmarking, and vendor negotiations.
  • Knowledge of TMS, freight visibility tools, and transportation technologies.
  • Understanding of QHSE standards and regulations.
  • Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills.
  • Proactive attitude with a drive for excellence and adaptability to change.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for stakeholder relationship building.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification or experience in process improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with data analysis tools like POWER BI, route optimization, and digital freight platforms.
  • Regional or global supply chain experience in a multinational environment.
