Job description

As an IT Security Analyst, you will be responsible for administering, maintaining, developing, and implementing policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of PPG’s systems. You will also provide specialized technical knowledge and contribute to the establishment of security-related policies by identifying opportunities for effective use of security tools and procedures. You will report to the Information Security Specialist, based in UOA Shah Alam.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Work as part of a global security analyst team focusing on access administration (50% of your time).
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all provisioning processes adhere to PPG IT Policies.
  3. Provide frontline support for Identity Access Management (IAM), ERP systems, and Satellite Applications (20% of your time).
  4. Work with audit and compliance teams to address security process deficiencies and implement remediation (10% of your time).
  5. Coordinate with global IT teams on data governance projects, providing solutions.
  6. Maintain knowledge of security awareness products and best practices.
  7. Assist the user community with security access needs across all environments.
  8. Possess working knowledge of Active Directory infrastructure and company ERP systems (SAP, Oracle).
  9. Engage in internal projects and initiatives with internal and cross-functional teams (20% of your time).
  10. Be willing to work in a hybrid environment (2 days remote, 3 days in-office).
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s degree in computer systems or a related field.
  2. Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  3. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  4. Knowledge of IAM, Active Directory, and security compliance principles.
  5. Ability to communicate clearly and lead presentations, training, and meetings.
