Position Overview: The Operations Support Analyst is responsible for providing analytical, operational, and administrative support to ensure the seamless functioning of retail operations. This role involves analyzing data, streamlining processes, resolving operational issues, and collaborating with multiple teams to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Analysis:

  • Analyze sales, inventory, and operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.

  • Develop reports and dashboards to support decision-making for store and corporate teams.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify and recommend process enhancements to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.

  • Assist in the implementation of new systems, tools, and processes to optimize retail operations.

Support and Troubleshooting:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for resolving operational issues at stores or within the supply chain.

  • Collaborate with IT, supply chain, and customer service teams to address system and operational challenges.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with merchandising, logistics, finance, and store teams to align operations with company goals.

  • Support the rollout of new store initiatives and systems, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

Training and Documentation:

  • Create training materials and conduct sessions to educate teams on new tools, processes, and best practices.

  • Maintain detailed documentation for operational processes and systems.

Compliance and Standards:

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure stores are meeting operational benchmarks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in retail operations, analytics, or a similar role.

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI) and enterprise software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with inventory management systems and retail POS platforms.

  • Familiarity with supply chain and logistics processes.

  • Knowledge of retail industry trends and customer behavior analytics.
