To formulate and generate a Design Brief together with marketing input for management approval:
- Prepare conceptual proposals and design feasibility studies for new projects or potential land.
- Generate generic specifications, source materials, and review all finishes selections and specifications by consultants or suppliers for management approval.
- Perform design management, including design audits, coordination, and upgrades.
- Prepare documentation and memos on design and planning matters for internal or management approval.
- Manage interior fit-out work for sales galleries and show units.
- Compile project land information, fact sheets, consultant directories, survey drawings, and check local planning guidelines.
- Source, filter, and propose consultant appointments related to design, such as interior designers, architects, planners, and landscape architects; prepare comparisons or recommendations.
- Manage authority drawing preparations and submissions, including checklists, land, and authority submissions.
- Lead project planning meetings, such as CCM, TCM, and other meetings from start to tender award.
- Generate master implementation programs (MIP), including work schedules and follow-ups with departments.
- Handle requests for proposals (RFP) or design competition briefs, and assess submissions or presentations for management review.
- Establish and manage records, filing, and SOPs for the design & planning department.
- Perform other duties as required by management.

- Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor in Architecture (LAM Part 1), Master in Architecture (LAM Part 2), with Professional Qualification (LAM Part 3) being an advantage.
- At least 15 years of relevant experience in reputable architectural firms or developers.
- Extensive experience in mixed commercial, high-rise residential projects, especially Transit-Oriented Developments, including interior works.
- Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin or Cantonese is an advantage.
- Attention to detail, passion for architecture and interior design.
- Knowledge of statutory requirements, planning guidelines, and experience liaising with authorities.
- Ability to lead design and planning teams to meet KPIs.
- Ability to work independently with good time management.
- Skills in hand sketching, MS Office, PowerPoint, 3D Studio Max, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, SketchUp, AutoCAD, and MS Project.
- Willingness to travel if required.
