Job description

Operate a lorry to transport goods or heavy materials over designated distances. Have a Valid GDL (Heavy Vehicle Driving License) or Class E or D license.

Loading/Unloading:

Assist with or perform loading and unloading operations using various equipment.

Vehicle Maintenance:

Check and report any vehicle issues, and ensure the lorry is clean and well-maintained.

Safety:

Prioritize safety by adhering to traffic laws, ensuring goods are securely loaded, and following safety protocols. Must be in good health and handle lorries with care, adhering to all government rules and regulations.

Communication:

Communicate with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and address any issues.

Documentation:

Manage delivery documentation, including invoices and delivery orders.

Additional Tasks:

May be required to work on public holidays/rest days, depending on the job. Assist with on-site duties in a warehouse, such as loading/unloading.
