Job description

As a QC Assistant to the QC Manager, you will provide crucial administrative, operational, and coordinative support to oversee all quality assurance activities. You will assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring quality control systems and procedures. Your responsibilities will include managing documentation, preparing reports, coordinating communication between teams, and supporting quality improvement initiatives. You will also ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations, potentially supervising QC Inspectors under the QC Manager's guidance. Additionally, you will handle various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the quality control department.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide administrative and operational support to the QC Manager.
  2. Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring quality control systems and procedures.
  3. Manage documentation, records, and reports related to quality control.
  4. Prepare reports on quality performance for review.
  5. Coordinate communication between QC Inspectors, production, and other departments.
  6. Support quality improvement initiatives.
  7. Assist in ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulations.
  8. Potentially supervise QC Inspectors under guidance.
  9. Collect, convey, and summarize inspection reports and relevant data.
  10. Disseminate quality-related information to relevant departments.
  11. Analyze quality data and prepare summaries.
  12. Manage departmental resources and administrative processes.
  13. Facilitate communication and collaboration on quality matters.
  14. Prepare and distribute management reports.
  15. Manage departmental supplies and resources.
  16. Report daily progress and critical issues to higher management.
  17. Complete additional tasks as assigned.

What We're Looking For:

  1. Qualifications in quality assurance, manufacturing, business administration, or related fields.
  2. 1-2 years of experience in a quality control or administrative role, preferably in manufacturing.
  3. Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
  4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  5. Proficiency in data management, analysis, and reporting.
  6. Ability to work independently and proactively.
  7. Familiarity with quality management systems like ISO 9001 is advantageous.
  8. Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
  9. Strong problem-solving skills to support quality challenges.
