• Sourcing new and reviewing existing goods to ensure goods remain competitive.
• Liaising with existing supplier/vendor, negotiating prices and delivery.
• Evaluating supplier/vendor on prices, quality of products, and average shipping times.
• Preparing purchase orders, expediting orders and deliveries.
• Maintaining supplier/vendor records and purchasing records.
• Responsible for sourcing materials & tools.
• Liaising with other departments as necessary to forecast, plan, and meet demand with relevant quality.
• Negotiating payment terms and lead times, and administering Purchase Orders.
• Sourcing for new suppliers/vendors, brands, and cost optimization.
• Able to read engineering drawings and understand fabrication processes such as turning, CNC milling, grinding, etc., which will be an added advantage.
• Performing other duties and assignments as instructed by superiors from time to time.
• Complying with all ISO requirements (including all standards approved by management) and adhering to safety practices, SOPs, work instructions, policies, and guidelines provided by the company.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Engineering (Mechanical), Business Studies/Administration/Management, Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical), or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of working experience in the Automation field is required for this position.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and support overtime as needed.
