Sunningdale Tech (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced and talented Assistant Planning Manager to join our production team in Bandar Tenggara, Johor. As a key member of our manufacturing operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring efficient production planning and scheduling to support our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands and production targets
2. Liaise with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products
3. Analyse production data and identify opportunities for process improvements
4. Implement and maintain effective inventory control systems to minimise waste and optimise costs
5. Prepare and present production reports, forecasts, and key performance metrics
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production-related issues and challenges
7. Provide training and support to production staff to enhance their planning and scheduling skills

What We're Looking For

1. Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in production planning and scheduling, preferably in the manufacturing industry
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically
4. Proficient in using production planning and scheduling software, such as MRP or ERP systems
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
6. Adaptable to change and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
7. Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken
