Job Duties and Qualifications
- Under direct supervision, perform Job Safety Analysis (JSA), conduct safety meetings, and rig up/down Coil Tubing service line equipment. Assemble and prepare equipment for installation and service.
- Assist in job execution. Maintain general housekeeping, clean up, repair, and prepare equipment for subsequent jobs.
- Perform pre/post job inspections of Coiled Tubing equipment.
- Ensure safe crane and rigging operations during service delivery, adhering to Customer's design and KPIs.
- Operate high-pressure fluid pumps and coil tubing support equipment (flow back package).
- Conduct hydrostatic testing on Blow Out Prevention (BOP) and reels during pre/post job procedures, including Preventative Maintenance (PM).
- Mentor peers and train Operator Assistants. Monitor well control parameters and calculations throughout job applications.
- Perform and complete preventative maintenance on all Coil Tubing equipment.
- Understand that correctly performed job tasks impact cost containment, efficiency, profitability, and operations. Recognize that errors can have measurable and confined consequences.
- Drive trucks or other assigned equipment as required.
- Skills typically acquired through a high school diploma or similar education and approximately 6 months of experience as Operator Assistant II.
- Possession of a valid Commercial Driver's License may be required.
- Complete essential math, Red Book, and Coil Tubing I training.
- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills due to the nature of oil field service work.
- Basic mathematical, reading comprehension, writing skills, and computer skills are preferred.
- Adhere to safety awareness, environmental consciousness, and all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines. Participate actively in the Quality Improvement Process.
