We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining and deploying quality targets for products based on customer, market, and application requirements, while proactively capturing future goals. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality from development to end-of-life.

Job Description

In your new role, you will:

1. Define and deploy quality targets for products based on customer, market, and application requirements, and proactively capture future goals.
2. Align relevant quality requirements in close collaboration with internal business and operational functions.
3. Develop a technical qualification strategy and a plan (cost, time, resources) based on customer requirements or product and technology innovation.
4. Contribute to technical risk management through your expertise in methods and products, serving as a role model in challenging reviews.
5. Conduct product qualification according to plan, including assessment of test and analysis results; in case of failures, drive failure analysis and problem solving.
6. Monitor product quality performance from delivery release to end-of-life.
7. Assess risk for products in volume production in case of deviations in product or production processes.
8. Act as an advocate for the customer, focusing on client needs during problem solving.
9. Drive the documentation of product quality queries and qualification documents.
10. Support digitalization projects to enable automation, optimize effectiveness, reduce turnaround times, and drive Infineon’s next level of profitable quality leadership.

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

1. A university degree or comparable education in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering/Management in a technical environment, R&D, or engineering/application of products and/or technology.
3. Technical understanding of the structure, function, manufacturing, and/or application of semiconductor products, with an advanced background in silicon semiconductor technology.
4. Ideally, knowledge of reliability testing and failure analysis methods.
5. Experience with quality methods such as FMEA, 8D, and familiarity with international standards like JEDEC/AECQ.
6. Solid experience working within project management environments and cross-divisional teams.
7. Experience in direct customer communication is an advantage.
8. Fluent English skills.
