Those in Guidewire testing at PwC will specialise in testing and quality assurance activities related to Guidewire applications. Guidewire is a software suite that provides insurance companies with tools for policy administration, claims management, and billing. You will be responsible for confirming that the Guidewire applications meet the desired quality standards and perform as expected.

  • Designing detailed, comprehensive and well-structured Test Plans and Test Cases
  • Setting up Test Environment Test Data
  • Executing tests as needed throughout the project.
  • Analyzing and reporting test results.
  • Identifying and tracking defects through their lifecycle.
  • Understanding of Integration - Technical Design Document and Use Case
  • Testing experience of any one of the Guidewire products: PolicyCenter
  • Experience on policy transactions, workflow ,Audits, forms inference
  • Performing thorough testing [Smoke / System / Integration / Regression / Stabilization
  • Possessing expertise in Test Management Tools like ALM / Jira

Minimum years experience required

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of Relevant Experience in Automation Testing.
  • Good to have insurance Domain knowledge.
  • Hands on experience in Designing and developing Automation Scripts; Proficiency in programming languages such as java/javascript/python and tools such as Selenium, Katalon, TestComplete
  • Should have experience in different frameworks such as POM, TestNG, BDD
  • Good knowledge on Agile processes.
  • Ability to collaborate with QA analysts and developers to develop solutions
  • Ability to analyse,design and build automated cases based on system requirements and design specifications.
