Job description

Company Background:
The hotel, with six branches in Johor, is a growing establishment committed to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and coordinate daily maintenance activities across the entire hotel property
  2. Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all hotel facilities, equipment, and systems
  3. Supervise a team of maintenance technicians and assign daily tasks and work orders
  4. Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities, identifying and prioritizing repair and maintenance needs
  5. Respond to emergency maintenance issues promptly and efficiently
  6. Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, repairs, and equipment inventory
  7. Manage and control the maintenance department budget
  8. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
  9. Coordinate with housekeeping, engineering, and other departments to maintain hotel standards
  10. Perform equipment repairs and maintenance as needed
  11. Manage vendor relationships and oversee external maintenance contractors
  12. Conduct staff training on maintenance procedures and safety protocols

Qualifications:

  1. 2-5 years of experience in hotel or facilities maintenance, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
  2. Proficiency in maintenance management software and inventory tracking systems
  3. Excellent paperwork, documentation, problem-solving and communication skills
  4. Valid driver's license
  5. Basic computer skills and familiarity with maintenance management technologies
