About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our dynamic team at Hurricane Systems Sdn Bhd. As a Senior Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex networking solutions that support our clients' business objectives. This full-time position is based in Bandar Sri Damansara, Selangor, offering opportunities for growth and development within our organization.

What you'll be doing

1. Design, configure, and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure enterprise network infrastructure.
2. Analyze network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, ensuring minimal downtime for our clients.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute network projects.
5. Document network configurations, processes, and procedures.
6. Train and mentor junior network engineers to develop their skills.
7. Stay up-to-date with the latest networking technologies and best practices.

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Senior Network Engineer or equivalent role.
2. Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting enterprise-level network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
3. Proficiency in network protocols such as TCP/IP, VLAN, OSPF, BGP, and QoS.
4. Strong understanding of network security principles and the ability to implement security best practices.
5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
7. Certifications such as CCNP, JNCIA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
