Project Manager - High Rise (Main Contractor)
Up to MYR 15,000 Basic + MYR 2000 Allowances
Responsible for the planning, coordinating, implementation, monitoring, and control of projects to ensure completion within time, budget, and required quality standards.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure that all Quality Management System procedures are implemented at the site.
- Plan, supervise, and monitor the progress of the project, including cost control and understanding project needs.
- Coordinate resource allocation for the project.
- Attend meetings with consultants, authorities, and clients.
- Initiate and verify corrective actions as necessary.
- Serve as a member of the Management Review Committee, as appointed.
- Maintain staff discipline at the site.
- Report to supervisor on pre-mix intervals.
- Chair site meetings, subcontractors meetings, and act as Chairman for the Site Safety Committee.
- Liaise with the Planning Department to prepare work programs and project cash flow.
- Review all method statements and work instructions before submission to the consultant.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate superior.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- More than 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in engineering design, construction supervision, and project management activities.
- Ability to liaise closely with clients, authorities, and consultants.
