Job description

Project Manager - High Rise (Main Contractor)

Up to MYR 15,000 Basic + MYR 2000 Allowances

Responsible for the planning, coordinating, implementation, monitoring, and control of projects to ensure completion within time, budget, and required quality standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Ensure that all Quality Management System procedures are implemented at the site.
  2. Plan, supervise, and monitor the progress of the project, including cost control and understanding project needs.
  3. Coordinate resource allocation for the project.
  4. Attend meetings with consultants, authorities, and clients.
  5. Initiate and verify corrective actions as necessary.
  6. Serve as a member of the Management Review Committee, as appointed.
  7. Maintain staff discipline at the site.
  8. Report to supervisor on pre-mix intervals.
  9. Chair site meetings, subcontractors meetings, and act as Chairman for the Site Safety Committee.
  10. Liaise with the Planning Department to prepare work programs and project cash flow.
  11. Review all method statements and work instructions before submission to the consultant.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate superior.
Requirements
  1. Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  2. More than 5 years of relevant work experience.
  3. Experience in engineering design, construction supervision, and project management activities.
  4. Ability to liaise closely with clients, authorities, and consultants.
Additional Benefits
  • Car Allowance: MYR 1,700 to MYR 2,000
  • Handphone Allowance: MYR 180
  • Toll: MYR 150 to MYR 200
  • Outpatient: Pay and claim MYR 500 per year (personal)

  • Annual Leave: 16 to 21 days (depending on years of service)
