We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fixed Income candidate to lead and grow our fixed income distribution business. This is an exciting opportunity for professionals with a strong bond dealing background, client relationship experience, and leadership skills to join a dynamic team and contribute to the company's success.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Marketing of Fixed Income Instruments: Oversee and ensure deals are executed efficiently. Manage bond transactions, including government bonds, corporate bonds, private credit, and sukuk. Engage regularly with agency networks and distribution channels. Monitor market movements, pricing, and yield trends to optimize bond trading strategies.
  2. Client Relationship Management: Develop and manage relationships with corporate clients, private bankers, wealth managers, high net worth investors, and institutional investors. Provide fixed income advisory and recommend suitable bond investment strategies. Drive business growth by identifying opportunities to expand bond distribution and fixed income portfolios.
  3. Supervision & Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the fixed income team, ensuring they meet performance targets. Provide training to enhance market knowledge and sales effectiveness. Oversee trade execution and client service practices.
  4. Regulatory & Compliance: Ensure all transactions comply with Bank Negara Malaysia, Securities Commission Malaysia regulations, and company policies. Stay updated on regulatory changes and risk management frameworks.
Requirements:
Experience & Skills:
  • Minimum 8 years in fixed income trading, including wealth management, corporate banking, or private banking.
  • Hands-on experience in bond trading, strategies, and advisory.
  • Client management experience with HNWIs, corporates, or institutional investors.
  • Supervisory experience leading and mentoring teams.
Qualifications & Certifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related fields.
  • Membership with Persatuan Pasaran Kewangan Malaysia (PPKM).
  • Regulatory qualification for Securities Commission Malaysia activities.
Preferred Attributes:
  • Strong knowledge of bond markets, credit risk, and investment strategies.
  • Motivated, independent, results-driven, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
