About the job Mainframe Developer (Cardlink Environment)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain mainframe applications within the Cardlink environment.
• Ensure seamless integration and operation of Cardlink and Vision Plus systems.
• Utilize VSAM for data storage and retrieval in mainframe applications.
• Write, test, and maintain programs using Mainframe Cobol, CICS, Easytrieve, and JCL.
• Monitor and support batch processes to ensure efficient and accurate transaction processing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement new features.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for mainframe applications in the Cardlink environment.
• Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and provide feedback to ensure best practices are followed.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and standards.

Requirements:

• Atleast 3 years of Mandatory experience with mainframe development, including deployment support, batch runs, and monitoring.
• Proficiency in Mainframe Cobol, CICS, Easytrieve, and JCL programming languages.
• Experience with Mainframe ZOS operating system.
• Familiarity with VSAM for data storage and retrieval.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in banking projects, preferably within the cards domain.
