Job Summary

The Account Manager will be based in Melaka and is responsible for generating profitable sales revenue and increasing operating income by broadening sales coverage, establishing new accounts, and providing total solutions for compressed air to customers in the South Malaysia region.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and source new clients and business prospects (e.g., perform outreach to cold leads via calls and emails).
  • Achieve sales targets set for the area of responsibility and industries by building and maintaining close relationships with customers, including customer visits, to solicit orders.
  • Negotiate tender, contract terms and conditions, and prepare sales contracts.
  • Prepare sales reports and monthly forecasts, analyze costs and sales, quotations, and maintain/create new client accounts.
  • Provide pre-sales technical assistance (including demonstrations and technical presentations), product training, and after-sales support.
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, marketing events, and other industry functions.
  • Work closely with supply chain management, sales support, project engineers, and the order fulfillment team.
Basic Qualifications
  • Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with sales experience in selling industrial products.
  • Valid driving license and own vehicle.
  • Fluent in English.
Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

Work will be within South Malaysia, with the office located in Limbongan, Melaka, Malaysia.
