About the role

Yes Jayaraya Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead our licensed money services business. As the CEO, you will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of the company, driving growth, and ensuring operational excellence across all areas of the business. This is a full-time position based in Kuala Lumpur.

What you'll be doing

1. Providing strategic leadership and vision to the organisation, ensuring alignment with the company's mission and values
2. Overseeing all aspects of the business operations, including finance, compliance, risk management, and customer service
3. Developing and implementing effective business strategies to drive revenue growth, profitability, and market share
4. Building and leading a high-performing management team to execute the company's strategic plan
5. Fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and employee engagement
6. Representing the company externally and building strong relationships with key stakeholders, including regulators, partners, and customers

What we're looking for

• Extensive experience (8+ years) in a senior leadership role, preferably in the financial services, banking, remittance or money services industry
• In-depth knowledge of Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) compliance requirements, AML/CFT practices, and the Money Services Business Act
• Proven track record of successfully leading and growing a regulated financial services business
• Thorough understanding of the regulatory environment and compliance requirements in the money services industry
• Exceptional strategic and analytical thinking skills, with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with a diverse range of stakeholders
• Strong financial acumen and the ability to make data-driven decisions
• Passionate about driving innovation and fostering a positive, high-performance culture
