Job Description
As a General Accountant, you will be primarily responsible for preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports. Responsibilities also include analyzing trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses. The General Accountant is responsible for reporting the Company's finances to the management and offering suggestions about resource utilization, tax strategies, and assumptions underlying budget forecasts. Equipped with enthusiasm and skills, you will:

  1. Provide a leadership role in all aspects of the company’s financial operations and manage finance/accounting functions.
  2. Provide accurate and timely financial information and reports to facilitate the decision-making process and ensure the success of the corporation.
  3. Ensure adequate controls are in place, i.e., policies and procedures.
  4. Provide monthly information and analysis for the Strategic Management Team.
  5. Provide monthly and quarterly reporting as required by the bank, ensuring covenants are met.
  6. Be responsible for the annual budget process, provide monthly reviews, and implement business plans and other programs.

Qualifications

  1. Certified Public Accountant with a good sound knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards.
  2. At least 3 years of relevant working experience.
  3. Passionate about numbers, trends, and financial reporting.
  4. Detail-oriented with a strong sense of work prioritization and time management.
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  6. Able to work independently and with people across all levels.
  7. Amenable to work in a hybrid setup.
