The Finance Manager is tasked with developing and implementing the management plan in line with AMS's overall business and quality objectives.
Supervise departments within the finance division:
Responsible for the smooth operation of finance administration functions, recommending and establishing policies, processes, procedures, systems, and mechanisms to ensure compliance with internal controls, AMS financial policies, legal, and external requirements.
This role reports to the Group MD and functions in accordance with applicable policies and regulations.
Provide strategic direction through strategy formulation, decision-making, forecasting, budgeting, and implementation/monitoring. Establish and maintain internal controls and ensure efficient and effective financial operations aligned with industry benchmarks.
Finalize annual and periodic financial statements timely, coordinate audits, and present them to the Board of Directors for approval.
Prepare financial projections and budgets aligned with the business plan, securing approval from senior management and the Board.
Monitor funding status, disbursements, repayments, and related reporting.
Coordinate with stakeholders on fund management, including grants and tax incentives.
Develop and prepare financial reports, cash flow projections, reimbursement strategies, budgeting systems, tax returns, financial analyses for new business ventures, and disbursement processes.
Optimize returns on cash by investing excess cash in revenue-generating financial instruments.
Must be an MIA member with a background in manufacturing or oil and gas industries.
