Job Summary: The Head Finance Manager will oversee all financial aspects of the company's operations in Malaysia. Responsibilities include leading the finance team, developing financial strategies, managing financial planning and analysis, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance, and providing strategic financial insights to senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement long-term financial strategies aligned with company objectives.
2. Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.
3. Provide financial analysis, modeling, and advice to support strategic decision-making.
4. Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying areas for improvement.
5. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and IFRS.
6. Oversee all aspects of financial accounting, including general ledger, accounts payable, receivable, fixed assets, and intercompany transactions.
7. Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements such as corporate tax (LHDN), SST, and regulatory filings.
8. Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, and regulatory bodies.

Treasury & Cash Flow Management:

1. Manage cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operations.
2. Develop cash forecasting models and manage working capital strategies.
3. Maintain banking relationships and optimize banking facilities.
4. Oversee foreign exchange risk management where applicable.

Develop and implement internal controls and financial policies to safeguard assets and ensure accuracy of financial data. Identify and mitigate financial risks, and ensure adherence to group policies and ethical standards.

Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, promoting a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Set objectives, conduct performance reviews, and support professional development.

Qualifications & Experience:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA, ICAEW) is essential.
3. Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).
4. 10-12 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
5. Deep knowledge of MFRS, Malaysian tax laws, and local regulatory requirements.
6. Strong experience with ERP systems.
