About the Department

UOB Innovation Hub 2 (InnoHub2) is a wholly owned subsidiary and a Centre of Excellence based in Malaysia, providing Group Business Services (GBS) to support the UOB Group. Job Responsibilities

You will be part of the Retail Operational Readiness Centre, ensuring seamless implementation of technology changes through effective Testing, Training, and Documentation. Supported verticals include AS400 / Mainframe applications, Internet / Mobile Banking applications, Cards, and Channels applications.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Understanding Business Requirements and Functional Specifications/User Stories
  • Preparing Test Case Design using TOSCA or other bank-approved tools for technology changes
  • Ensuring traceability from requirements/functional specs to test cases
  • Engaging business/operations users to review test cases and incorporate feedback
  • Identifying potential scenarios for Test Automation with the Automation Lead
  • Driving Manual & Automated Test Execution as per the UAT Plan, in line with the test strategy and plan
  • Ensuring all test scope and cases are executed within the timeline
  • Reporting defects, attending defect calls, and participating in defect management and retesting
  • Reviewing UAT test results and publishing test metrics
  • Performing Exploratory Testing
  • Providing operational readiness support and conducting training on new systems or enhancements
  • Providing post-implementation support to operations users
  • Reviewing and submitting management reports as required
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 7 years of experience, preferably in financial institutions
  • Well-versed in operations, especially Swift standards in AS400 / Mainframe applications, Internet / Mobile Banking, Cards, and Channels applications
  • Experience in testing or test management lifecycle
  • Proficient in computer skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Experience in team management
  • Ability to take ownership and resolve issues
  • Motivated, driven, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders across disciplines
  • Mature with strong leadership, influencing, and problem-solving skills
