Order Management Specialist, Order-to-Cash (O2C)

WE’RE HIRING: Order Management Specialist

Location: Bangsar South City, Kuala Lumpur
Industry: Oil & Gas (Shared Services)
Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 days WFH)
Contract: 12 months contract with PERSOLKELLY
Salary: RM6,000 – RM8,500 (based on experience & qualifications)

About the Role
As an Order Management Specialist, you'll be the first point of contact for customers across the globe—handling end-to-end order processing for international and domestic marine and energy products. From ensuring compliance and coordinating delivery to resolving issues and liaising across teams, this is a pivotal role in the Order-to-Cash (O2C) cycle.

Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary liaison for customers, sales managers, logistics, and supply chain teams
Receive and process customer orders via phone, email, or fax
Ensure all orders are complete, accurate, compliant, and delivered on time
Maintain close coordination with the Credit team to ensure credit clearance
Proactively monitor delivery status, vessel ETAs, port changes, and product availability
Handle inquiries related to pricing, supply delays, and out-of-hours incidents
Record and manage customer complaints and service non-conformances
Use multiple systems including SAP, Salesforce, Genesys, JDE, Manta

What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or related field
3–4 years of experience in customer service or order processing
Experience managing global stakeholders (e.g. Chief Engineers, Ship Captains, Purchasers)
Hands-on experience with SAP is an added advantage
Proven ability to multitask and thrive in fast-paced environments
Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken)
Detail-oriented with a customer-first mindset
Familiarity with marine and energy logistics is a plus

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Shared Service Centers or Oil & Gas industry
Accredited as a Lean Practitioner
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage complex orders across time zones
