In this full-time, office-based role at our Malaysian headquarters, you'll oversee our dedicated design team, collaborating closely with product and marketing teams to elevate our brand and user experiences.

What You'll Be Doing

• Define and drive the creative vision for tawk.to's brand identity, messaging platform, and marketing initiatives.
• Lead and mentor our growing design team (currently 3 members).
• Balance innovative design with consistent brand standards across digital touchpoints.
• Collaborate closely with product teams to enhance UI/UX, ensuring visual excellence and intuitive user experiences.
• Create polished, engaging designs tailored to our diverse global audience.
• Actively participate in broader product development discussions.
• Develop and maintain robust design systems and style guidelines.
• Keep abreast of design trends relevant to SaaS products and messaging platforms.
• Present creative concepts effectively to internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Ensure all creative outputs reflect an understanding of international and cross-cultural design considerations.
  
  

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of creative leadership experience, specifically within SaaS or messaging products.
• Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring high-quality design outputs.
• Expert UI/UX design skills complemented by a strong graphic design background.
• Proven experience designing for international products with cross-cultural sensitivities.
• Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• An outstanding portfolio demonstrating innovative thinking and consistent brand execution.
• Experience collaborating with product and engineering teams in agile environments.
• Strong communication skills for clearly articulating design rationales.
• Bachelor's degree in Design, Visual Communication, or equivalent professional experience.
