Mission Consultancy Services is looking for an experienced Business Analyst who has significant experience in Teradata and Informatica Projects. Previous experience in Banking and Financial Services is a plus. The successful candidate will have experience in:

1. Interacting with Users

3. Documenting business requirements
4. Performing Design Analysis
5. Developing Design Specifications

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Gathering of Requirements from various systems business users.
2. Communicating with the business users to understand business requirements clearly.
3. Conducting meetings with the data architects to understand the source system elements.
4. Consulting with business stakeholders to understand and evaluate current business processes and identify complex business problems and needs, turning those needs into system requirements.
5. Providing support to other developers in accurately mapping source attributes into the Teradata Financial Services Logical Data Model (FSLDM) and in interpreting business requirements.
6. Working closely with the Data Modeler and Data Architect in enhancing the FSLDM.
7. Development of scripts for loading the data into the base tables in EDW using FastLoad, MultiLoad, and BTEQ utilities of Teradata.
8. Implementing logical and physical data modeling with techniques using Erwin in Data Mart.

SKILLS REQUIRED

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in Designing, Developing & Managing Data Warehousing Applications (Informatica and Teradata).
2. Solid understanding of relational databases.
3. Previous experience in creating Source to Target Mapping Data documentation.
4. Develop understanding of data models of various source systems and their relationships.
5. Experienced in writing Design Documents, System Administration Documents, Test Plans & Test Scenarios/Test Cases, and documentation of test results.
6. Experienced in Designing and Preparing Training Material and Conducting Training Sessions for users.
7. Good understanding of Teradata architecture, FSDLM, Stored Procedures & its Load Utilities.
8. Hands-on experience in designing, building & monitoring ETL processes using Informatica.
9. Expert in writing complex SQL queries to automate jobs in Teradata.
10. Integrate data from multiple sources into one database system to streamline information.
11. Isolate and resolve issues with data and databases, ensuring final tables are easily accessible and database performance is optimized.
12. Optimize system performance using best ETL/Database practices.
13. Hands-on experience analyzing, optimizing and combining large datasets from various sources by writing complex queries.
14. Flexibility in dynamic environments.
15. Banking experience with understanding of Hadoop Architecture & its framework is preferred.

Required Education:
You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent substitute.

Salary:
As this position is for abroad, the package will be as per expats market standards in the based country.
Salary Range: INR 108675 - 144900
Working location: One of the largest Banks in Malaysia located in Kuala Lumpur.
