Job description

Lead and oversee daily production activities to ensure smooth operations, on-time output, and alignment with production goals.

Supervise and guide production operators, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), 5S standards, hygiene, and workplace safety.

Ensure all processes meet the standards set by the Food Safety and Quality Management System.

Monitor and maintain productivity, quality, and process performance across all production lines.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize workflows.

Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure effective production planning and scheduling.

Allocate manpower effectively based on operational needs and shift requirements.

Take responsibility for the full spectrum of production functions, including people management, performance monitoring, and process optimization.

REQUIREMENT:

Candidate must have at least 2 years’ experience in manufacturing production, or a similar role (food manufacturing production experience is a bonus)

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate closely with planning and other departments

Skilled in planning production schedules, streamlining processes, and leading operator teams

Strong leadership, problem-solving, team management and computer skills

Familiarity with production machinery, material handling, and inventory management

Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure, coordinate shifts effectively, and consistently meet production goals

Basic understanding of quality control and production processes is required. Knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, GMP, FSSC 22000) is a plus

A bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Engineering, or a related field(s) are not necessary but preferred
