Engineer, Maintenance

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement maintenance procedures and processes to ensure optimal plant performance.
2. Perform regular inspections and maintenance on plant equipment and machinery.
3. Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
4. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of maintenance activities.
6. Carry out preparation for equipment maintenance and ensure daily maintenance work is carried out smoothly.
7. Supervise and guide technicians and contractors to ensure high-quality maintenance services.
8. Investigate and report the actual causes of any delays.
9. Check the acceptance of project documents, vendor documents, method statements, working drawings, and others for compliance with requirements.
10. Check the revised drawings, construction plans, and other documents submitted by contractors for practicality and correctness.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any related field.
2. Preferably at least 5 years of experience in plant maintenance.
3. Good writing and oral skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
4. Knowledge of machine facilities (static/rotating equipment) or instrumentation.
5. Basic computer skills (MS Office, Windows).
6. Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
7. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
8. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
9. Good communication and teamwork skills.
