A leading university in Malaysia is seeking an HR professional to manage recruitment, visa processing, and teaching permits. The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background and experience in the education sector, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with regulations.

Responsible for sourcing applicants to meet headcount requirements.
Arrange interviews, prepare new hire information for approval, administer employment letters to successful applicants, ensure their documents are in order, and complete personal folders.
Responsible for the orientation of new hires and completion of their intake forms.
Visa
Compile documents for expatriate staff and their dependents to apply for support letters and administer online applications.
Process visa applications, renewals, cancellations, and transfers for various visa types such as employment passes, dependent passes, and social visit passes.
Teaching Permit
Ensure validity, teaching levels, and fields of staff teaching permits.
Handle applications, renewals, or changes to staff teaching permits and administer online applications.
Daily Operations
Input staff information accurately into the Employee Management System.
Update HR statistics and liaise with other functions.
Maintain good relations with government agencies like the Ministry of Higher Education and Immigration to facilitate smooth recruitment processes.
Undertake additional duties as assigned by superiors and the company.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resource Management or related fields.
Minimum 3 years of experience in the education industry.
Proficiency in recruitment, visa processing, and teaching permit management.
Strong command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an advantage.
Proficient in MS Office and Excel.
