Job Description:
- Manage Major Incidents (MIs) by quickly engaging the right teams, handling technical communication, and updating both internal and business stakeholders.
- Work with IT infrastructure and app support teams to resolve incidents and investigate problems.
- Analyze incident trends to identify and prevent recurring issues.
- Ensure accurate reporting and data for MIs and investigations.
- Be available 24/7, on standby to manage incident escalations and ensure the right personnel are involved.
- Coordinate and delegate issues such as network or system downtimes to the relevant IT personnel.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of ITIL Incident Management, Major Incident Management, and Problem Management.
- Experience in a 24/7 environment, flexible to work weekends and be on-call.
- Able to handle high-stress situations and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Able to work in a team and manage complex situations independently.
- ITIL Foundations Certification (preferred)
Position: IT Business Analyst (Environmental Monitoring System)
Job Description
- Provide direct support to business users, including processing of support tickets and system expansion tasks.
- Handle incidents, work orders, and change requests using the IT Service Management (ITSM) system.
- Manage ITSM tickets related to support, access control, incidents, and change management.
- Perform regular application maintenance and patching.
- Troubleshoot system-related issues to ensure smooth operation.
- Participate in system validation activities such as writing and executing test cases.
- Assist with system configuration/setup and the development of validation-related documentation.
- Contribute to site deployment projects by setting up and configuring systems for new or expanded operations.
- Gather and translate user requirements into functional system specifications.
- Act as a liaison between users and technical teams to ensure requirements are properly understood and delivered.
- Provide support for hardware/software challenges encountered by users in testing or measurement environments.
- Conduct training sessions for end users to help them understand and utilize system functions effectively.
- Develop and maintain system support documentation and user manuals/knowledge base articles.
Job Requirements:
- At least a Diploma in engineering or IT-related studies (e.g., electrical, manufacturing, networks).
- At least 1 year of experience supporting factory/shop floor systems or working in a regulated industry or manufacturing environment.
- Familiar with Vaisala Environmental Monitoring Systems or general Environmental Monitoring Systems (EMS).
