To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Process Engineer located in Port Tanjung Pelepas, Gelang Patah, Johor.

What a typical day looks like:

Responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating manufacturing processes by providing technical support and maintaining manufacturing methods. This involves performing duties during the product lifecycle's manufacturing phase.

Understand manufacturing and test equipment concepts, technologies, and techniques.

Design manufacturing processes within schedule and budgetary parameters.

Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods.

Define equipment maintenance requirements, identify root causes of equipment failures, and develop hands-on maintenance skills. Collaborate with engineering stakeholders and customers on problem-solving and continuous improvement of equipment and product design, including developing corrective and preventive action plans.

May involve development and updating of PFMEA for new products.

Write and update work instructions and other documents (e.g., specifications and procedures).

Analyze and design equipment and workspace layouts for maximum efficiency.

Coordinate with production regarding product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods.

Communicate with customers to determine product specifications and design changes, and respond to customer requests.

Provide management with technical information and cost perspectives for decision-making.

Discuss manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations with management, engineering, and staff to facilitate production processes.

Apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training.

Minimum 3 years of related work experience.

Required skills include Process control, SPC & PFMEA tools, and SMT process.
