About the role

We are seeking an experienced Front Office Manager to join the dynamic team at INNSiDE by Melia Kuala Lumpur in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur. As a full-time Front Office Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional customer service and the smooth operation of our hotel's front-of-house operations.

What you'll be doing

  1. Overseeing all front desk and concierge activities to maintain high standards of guest service
  2. Handling guest inquiries, reservations, and complaints with professionalism and empathy
  3. Supervising and training front office staff to deliver outstanding service
  4. Ensuring accurate and timely check-in and check-out procedures
  5. Managing the front office budget and optimizing resources
  6. Implementing and monitoring front office policies and procedures
  7. Collaborating with other departments to provide seamless guest experiences
  8. Analyzing guest feedback and data to identify opportunities for improvement

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a Front Office Manager or similar supervisory role within the hospitality industry
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team
  3. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  4. Familiarity with Opera Cloud, hotel management software, and computer systems
  5. Thorough understanding of hotel operations, including reservations, check-in/check-out, and guest relations
  6. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  7. Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in local dialect(s) or Mandarin is an advantage for communicating with Chinese tourists
