Job description

A Logistics & Procurement Executiveoversees both the purchasing of goods and services, and the subsequent logistics involved in their storage, movement, and delivery.This role involves activities like negotiating prices, issuing purchase orders, managing inventory, and maintaining relationships with suppliers.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Logistics:

§ Planning and organizing the transportation of goods.

§ Managing warehousing and storage facilities.

§ Ensuring timely delivery of goods.

§ Monitoring order fulfilment and tracking shipments.

§ Resolving any issues related to delivery or storage.

§ Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers.

§ Negotiating contracts with suppliers.

Procurement:

§ Identifying and sourcing suppliers.

§ Negotiating prices and terms.

§ Ensuring compliance with company procurement guidelines.

§ Monitoring stock levels and managing inventory.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, or a related field.

Fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply. Training will be provided.

Strong understanding of logistics & procurement processes.

Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.

Proficiency in relevant software and systems.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
