Responsibilities:
- Drive logistics capabilities via process improvements initiatives to maximize performance and customer satisfaction at minimum cost.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Regions, shipping, and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Troubleshoot shipping issues, resolve customs compliance issues to ensure inbound and outbound shipments arrive and ship out on time.
- Monitor industry standards, trends, or practices to identify developments in logistics planning or execution.
- Alert immediate supervisor to any logistics/shipping-related issues for prompt attention and follow-up.
- Liaise with carriers and service providers to identify and resolve issues impacting service delivery.
- Provide timely communications to stakeholders on disruptions, impacts, recovery options, and expected timelines.
- Analyze logistics data, including cost-benefit analysis.
- Prepare reports on logistics performance, delivery, and shipment status.
- Lead cost-saving initiatives on truck turnaround, track & trace, loadability, optimization, and distribution management.
- Review procedures and recommend improvements to existing or planned logistics processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned by superiors.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related fields.
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in the same industry is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to interact at all levels.
- Passion for growth.
- Knowledge of integrated planning software is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications and ERP systems.
