About the Role – ESG Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented ESG Analyst with 1–3 years of working experience, preferably within asset management or financial institutions. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing ESG function and contribute to the integration of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations into the investment process.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of financial statements and investment products, strong analytical and communication skills, and a genuine passion for sustainability and responsible investing.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. ESG Research & Analysis: Conduct research and analysis on ESG factors across companies, sectors, and asset classes. Support the ESG team in monitoring ESG trends, regulatory developments, and sustainability-related disclosures.
  2. ESG Integration Support: Assist investment teams in integrating ESG considerations into investment decisions, including due diligence and ongoing monitoring.
  3. Data Management & Reporting: Collect, organize, and analyze ESG data from various sources. Support ESG reporting efforts, including client ESG reports, regulatory disclosures, and internal ESG dashboards.
  4. Engagement & Stewardship: Support company engagement efforts on ESG issues, including preparing materials and documenting meeting outcomes.
  5. ESG Frameworks & Policies: Contribute to the development and implementation of ESG frameworks, internal policies, and sustainability initiatives.
  6. Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with investment, compliance, product, and marketing teams to align ESG efforts across the organization. Draft ESG-related content for internal and external use.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Sustainability, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of relevant work experience in asset management, banking, financial services, or sustainability consulting.
  • Good understanding of financial statements, investment products (e.g., equities, fixed income), and capital markets.
  • Strong interest in ESG investing and sustainability trends.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a proactive approach.
  • Familiarity with ESG data providers (e.g., MSCI, Sustainalytics) and ESG frameworks (e.g., UN PRI, TCFD, SASB, GRI) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office tools.
