You will collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance with specifications and drive continuous improvements in quality metrics. To plan and systematically implement activities within the quality system that can be demonstrated to provide confidence that a product or service will fulfill requirements for quality.
Plan and coordinate with relevant parties/departments on Quality Assurance-related topics to ensure smooth and successful operations.
Review customer requirements/specifications, raw material technical properties, and supplier/customer agreements.
Develop quality processes that ensure only products conforming to specifications are shipped to customers.
Develop and execute monitoring of incoming, in-process, and outgoing quality data, and drive continuous improvements.
Develop periodic training and assessments for QA auditors.
Whenever necessary, plan and perform failure analysis on customer-returned parts, coordinate and drive root cause analysis using the 8D approach and other quality improvement tools and techniques.
Communicate root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions to customers via various channels, including visiting customers when necessary.
