Job description

Job Responsibilities:
1. Manage full set of accounts for the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations
2. Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheets, income statements and cash flow reports
3. Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations to management
4. Coordinate budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes
5. Liaise with auditors for annual audit and tax filing requirements
6. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
7. Oversee inventory accounting, fixed asset management and depreciation
8. Ensure compliance with Malaysian tax laws, SST/GST requirements, and other statutory regulations
9. Improve financial processes, controls and systems as needed
10. Generate ad-hoc financial analysis and reports as requested by management
11. Handle other accounting tasks related to the company

Requirements:
1. Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
2. Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or CIMA preferred
3. Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a similar executive role
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
5. Proficiency in accounting software (Autocount, SQL)
6. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for financial modeling and analysis
7. Good communication and interpersonal skills
8. Able to meet tight reporting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
9. Meticulous and detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy
10. Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team
