Job description

1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Construction, Construction Management, Architecture, or any equivalent related field.

2. Minimum of 10 years of working experience in project/construction management, with exposure to building bungalows or factories.

3. Computer literate with Microsoft Office, Project, PowerPoint, and AutoCAD.

4. Willing to travel within Malaysia.

5. Working knowledge of ISO 9001 standards in the construction industry is an added advantage.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
2. Review project details to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
3. Supervise all onsite and offsite constructions to ensure compliance with CIDB and safety regulations.
4. Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
5. Select tools, materials, and equipment; track inventory.
6. Meet contractual performance conditions.
7. Review work progress daily.
8. Prepare internal and external reports on job status.
9. Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve emerging issues.
10. Negotiate terms, draft contracts, and obtain permits and licenses.
11. Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks.
12. Ensure quality standards and proper construction techniques.
13. Collaborate with the contract department on site measurement and variation orders.
