Job Description

Aim of the job:

  • To manage mill operations effectively.

Main responsibilities and activities:

  • Plan, organize, and control the maintenance of plant and equipment to significantly improve plant performance.
  • Ensure the achievement of mill KPIs.
  • Manage and coordinate oil mill construction and engineering projects.
  • Develop and maintain a motivated workforce and engineering team for sustainable mill operations.
  • Review and monitor safety measures to ensure compliance in the mill.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

Basic education and training:
  • Minimum degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
Professional experience:
  • Possess a Steam Engineer's certificate of competency.
  • Strong financial and budgeting skills.
  • Experience in mill maintenance, machinery installation, and design.
  • Good knowledge of EHS standards, ISO standards, and RSPO/MSPO/ISPO certifications.
  • High integrity, reliability, responsibility, and good time management skills.
  • Strong leadership qualities with a results-oriented approach.
