We're looking for a Talent & Culture Lead / Manager to oversee global talent acquisition, HR operations, payroll processes, and drive employee engagement—while building a culture that excites and retains. You will partner closely with the CEO to shape business decisions and lead the global HR strategy.

This dual-function role requires both hands-on management of HR operations and strategic leadership. Creativity, agility, and a passion for start-up culture are essential.

The Job:
  1. Strategic HR Advisory: Advise the CEO on workforce planning, employee exits, restructuring, and growth strategies. Ensure decisions comply with employment laws and support long-term goals.
  2. Payroll & Compensation: Manage payroll for Malaysia and oversee regional payroll operations. Ensure compliance, accuracy, and collaborate with vendors and finance.
  3. Talent & Culture Development: Drive engagement, retention, leadership development, and employee experience initiatives.
  4. HR Operations & Compliance: Oversee recruitment, onboarding, benefits, and legal compliance. Improve HR processes continuously.
  5. Employee Relations & Workplace Culture: Act as HR advisor, handle concerns, foster an inclusive culture, and manage employee exits fairly.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in HR, Psychology, or related field.
  • Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is a plus.
  • 6+ years in HR, with 2+ years in leadership.
  • Experience advising senior leadership, organizational design, and workforce planning.
  • Hands-on payroll management experience and compliance knowledge.
  • Strong talent management, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and independent in a fast-paced environment.
