Job Summary

Support the Funding Liquidity Management and Asset Servicing functions through operational and business support.

What is the opportunity?

The Analyst will assist in daily support responsibilities related to Repo Margin, Triparty Management, Collateral Management, Global Loans, AU Equity, London FX, Treasury Operations (Funding & Liquidity Management and Asset Servicing), Nostro Bank reconciliations, and breaks.

Working hours are:

6am/7am - 3pm/4pm

What will you do?
  • Support daily activities for various operational functions including Repo Margin, Triparty Management, Collateral Management, Global Loans, AU Equity, London FX, Treasury Operations, and Nostro Bank reconciliations.
  • Perform daily processing and settlement tasks accurately and timely, following RBC procedures.
  • Manage input and processing on internal and external settlement systems related to Funding & Liquidity Management responsibilities.
  • Review inward and outward cash flows within strict daily timeframes.
  • Provide funding projections and Nostro reporting to monitor market positions.
  • Conduct daily cash funding and reconciliation activities, investigating unreconciled items and breaks.
  • Review reports for discrepancies and follow up accordingly.
  • Monitor and manage Corporate Action Events, including Dividends, collaborating with Traders and the Equity support team in APAC.
  • Update procedures and checklists regularly.
  • Maintain effective communication with Front Office, Global Operations, and external exchanges.
  • Account for all client and bank charges, ensuring proper entries.
  • Identify opportunities to improve productivity and challenge existing processes.
  • Follow risk mitigation processes to prevent and detect operational risks.
  • Provide support across functions within the team and department as needed.
What do you need to succeed?

Must-have:

  • Diploma/Bachelor's in Business, Finance, or related field (preferred).
  • Recent graduate, intern, or 1-2 years of experience.
  • Knowledge of trade lifecycle processes in Capital Markets, especially Futures Trading.
  • Understanding of costs related to Capital Markets activities.
  • Familiarity with trading platforms and sub-ledger systems in front, middle, and back office.
  • Strategic thinker with strong communication skills.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in APAC and offshore London/Toronto flows.
  • Capable of working under pressure and multitasking while maintaining service quality.
  • Availability to work on public holidays if required.
