Who You Are:

Reliability Technician III

Position Summary:

1. Lead Evaluation and Qualification Activities: Take responsibility for preparing, setting up, and executing reliability tests for new and existing products by following detailed instructions and guidance from engineers. Ensure all results and traceability are accurately documented.

2. Reliability Project Oversight: Manage multiple testing projects simultaneously, ensuring timely execution, and alignment with engineering goals.

3. Mentorship and Training: Serve as a technical mentor to junior technicians, providing guidance, on-the-job training, and fostering a culture of quality and accountability.

4. Advanced Failure Analysis Support: Perform in-depth first-level failure assessments, support engineers in troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise during testing.

5. Process Optimization: Identify, propose and work with engineers to implement improvements in lab processes, testing methods to increase efficiency and accuracy.

6. Test Method Development and Validation: Partner with engineers to evaluate and validate new reliability test methodologies, fixtures, and workflows. Ensure scalability and robustness of new testing processes.

What You Will Do:

1. Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze test results, identify trends or anomalies, and provide detailed, actionable reports that support engineers' decisions and product improvements.

2. Interdepartmental Coordination: Work closely with Reliability Engineering, Process, Equipment Engineering and Test teams to align on test objectives, timelines and resolve reliability concerns.

3. Test Preparation and Execution: Key player in supporting Reliability Engineers in the setup, execution and monitoring of new/complex reliability tests (e.g., HTOL, Temperature Cycling, Chemical, Mechanical Stress), ensuring adherence to customer requirements and internal protocols.

4. Data Integrity and Traceability Management: Ensure all test data is accurately recorded, traceable, and properly backed up. Maintain records in accordance with document control standards and audit requirements.

5. Audit and Compliance Readiness: Main support to engineers during internal and external audits. Ensure all lab processes, records, and safety protocols are audit-ready and meet applicable ISO, customer or regulatory standards.

6. Develop and Maintain SOPs: Create, update and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and best practice documents for reliability testing activities.

7. Safety and Ergonomic Improvement Projects: Lead or participate in initiatives to improve lab safety, ergonomic workflows, and ESD practices, ensuring a safe, efficient and well-organized work environment.

8. Lab Automation and Scripting Support: Partner with engineers to implement or maintain automation scripts for data collection, test monitoring or report generation, enhancing throughput and accuracy.

What You Will Bring (RequiredQualifications):

1. 7+ years of hands-on experience in Reliability Engineering, Quality Assurance, or Failure Analysis roles, preferably in electronics or semiconductor industries.

2. Skilled in data analysis tools (Excel, Minitab, JMP, or similar) and clear, concise technical documentation.

Years of Experience (Minimum)

· 7 - 9 years

Preferred Qualifications:

Diploma and higher academic holder will be prioritized.

Demonstrated leadership in mentoring and guiding junior technicians or team members.

Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on root cause identification and corrective actions.

Good communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
