Campbell Malaysia is the Regional Hub for The Arnott’s Group Asia Business Unit. Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the organization leads the strategy & direction to ensure that The Arnott’s Group has a geographical footprint across Total Asia.

Campbell Malaysia also supports the region by supplying locally manufactured and marketed brands such as Campbell’s soup, Prego pasta sauces as well as Kimball & Cheong Chan sauces. Asia’s extended range of consumer food brands also include TST, Swanson, GoodTime & Nyam Nyam.

Position based in Bangsar South.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. General duties on month end tasks
  2. Perform month end activities as per the Month end Checklist.
  3. Maintain Prepayments Schedule and amortization Journals.
  4. Prepare Recurring standing Journals.
  5. Prepare and post accruals and month end Journals.
  6. Prepare Balance Sheet Reconciliations in Blackline.
  7. Prepare Balance sheet commentaries and attend related meetings.
  8. Ensure accuracy and timeliness in processes.
  9. Post intercompany accounting journals.
  10. Adhere to policies and understand risks of non-compliance.
  11. Prioritize workload to complete critical tasks.
  12. Assist with ad-hoc responsibilities like system testing and journal posting requested by Arnotts North Strathfield Head Office.
  13. Learn month-end activities for AU business as a backup role when required.
Accounts Management:
  1. Investigate and reconcile full accounts.
  2. Resolve accounting queries promptly or redirect as needed.
  3. Coordinate with inter-company parties to reconcile balances.
  4. Identify and communicate potential issues/risks to the team.
Requirement:
  • Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Degree, or Professional Degree in Accounting, Management, or Business Administration.
  • 1-3 years of experience; open to fresh graduates.
  • Shared services experience is preferable.
