Senior Accountant

Position: Senior Accountant
Salary: RM10,000 - RM12,000
Working day/hr: Mon - Fri, 8am-5pm (need to be flexible as well managing EU countries) - Hybrid

Job Responsibilities:

1. Manage full set of accounts closing at subsidiary level, monthly management report and analysis.
2. Responsible for expense document review, voucher input, and statement preparation to ensure that the company's expense review is timely and accurate.
3. Handle various approval process flow of SEA companies including employee reimbursement.
4. Prepare tax return submission and corporate tax filing.
5. Liaise with external auditors / secretary/ consultants on interim / annual audit and tax filing.
6. Ensure effective internal controls in relation to financial reporting are in place, identify continuous improvement opportunities and execute the change management process.
7. Any ad-hoc finance duties as assigned.

Requirements:

1. Degree holder in Finance, Accounting or equivalent professional qualifications.
2. CPA/ACCA or equivalent certification.
3. Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, with experience acquired in Big 4 and/or listed company is an advantage.
4. Familiar with group accounting policies, tax requirement and internal control procedures. Experience in US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley Act compliance is an advantage.
5. Experienced in SAP S/4HANA preferred.
6. Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
7. Proficiency in English, Malay and Chinese, both spoken and written.
