The position plays a vital role in ensuring the successful management and growth of key accounts. This position involves collaborating closely with key clients in the Oil and Gas industry. The candidate is required to understand their needs, provide exceptional service, and help develop strategic business plans that align with the company's objectives.

Job Description

This is a Sales Manager role in the Oil and Gas segment. The candidate will report directly to the Senior Sales Manager.

  1. Prepare tenders for potential projects, including coordinating, preparing, and compiling bid submission documents related to tendering activities, tender questionnaires, and pre-qualifications.
  2. Negotiate subcontract and customer/supplier contract awards.
  3. Maintain good relationships with suppliers.
  4. Communicate with clients by responding promptly to emails and inquiries, providing support, information, and guidance.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts, understand customer needs, and develop good rapport with customers.
  6. Handle complaints and negotiations.
  7. Understand how to prepare quotations, have exposure to tender documents, and some experience in preparing contract documents.
  8. Submit sales reports.
  9. Comply with all relevant legal requirements and best practices.
Academic Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields.

Experience/Skills Required
  1. Minimum 7 years of working experience in sales and account management, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
  2. Familiarity with tender exercises, costing, and experience in preparing contract documents.
  3. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work within short tender preparation periods.
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Good team player, self-motivated, with good time management, prioritization, multi-tasking skills, and ability to work independently.
  6. Ability to travel at least 20% of the time.
