Join our Sulzer Pumps Wastewater Malaysia team within the Flow Business Unit division as a Temporary Service Technician (6 months contract).

Main Tasks And Responsibilities

1. Carry out service repairs of Sulzer equipment at the workshop and on-site installations at customer/supplier sites.
2. Perform jobs in accordance with safety guidelines by Sulzer and the customer at customer sites.
3. Complete works following Supervisor instructions and in compliance with Sulzer policies.
4. Provide technical support to customers in the workshop and on-site.
5. Assist sales personnel with technical support if requested.
6. Submit complete service reports to the service supervisor to facilitate quick service quotations to customers.
7. Ensure all service, repair, and on-site installation works are carried out timely within Sulzer quality guidelines.
8. Assist Service Supervisor and Workshop Foreman with other service and repair matters.
9. Perform any other work as instructed by management from time to time.

Qualifications and Experience Needed

1. Certificate in Mechanical or Electrical technical courses, or a minimum of SPM with at least 5 years' relevant experience in pump repair or site installation works.
2. Competency/certificate in Confined Space issued by NIOSH is required.
3. Valid GDL driving license and willingness to travel within Malaysia and abroad.
